Course Details:

Master of Surgery (MS) is a three years Postgraduate Surgical course in India. The Medical Council of India (MCI) is a Statutory body which is responsible for establishing and maintaining high standards of Medical Education in Country. The course is designed to develop skill as a self directed learning, recognize continuing education needs required for appropriate learning resources to practices surgery. The course facilitates candidates to understand and gain knowledge of Individual field and speciality of Medicines. Degree holder have an ample career opportunities in field of Health Center, Hospitals, Laboratories, Nursing Homes, Private Practices and also in Research Institutes.

The Master of Surgery (MS) course focused on Surgical discipline of, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology, Oncology.

The Master’s Degree program requires 2 years of time period in India. It’s a Full Time study professional degree course. The study provide Doctor qualification in Surgery. The course is not available under distance education mode as it's a practical based study.

Eligibility

The candidates who have completed Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) / Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S), from any colleges recognized by Medical Council / Dental Council of India.Candidates also have to clear entrance exam to get admission for pursuing in Master’s program

Entrance Examination

In India it is mandatory to give an additional entrance exam for pursuing in, Master of Surgery (MS) such as, All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination.
