Course Details:

Master of Environmental Management (MEM), is a two years postgraduate Environmental Management degree course in India. The study is designed to cover all the important aspects of management such as Waste Material Pollution, Prevention activities associated with water, air and soil and develops the implementation of an effective environmental management system.

The specialized management study focused on identifying option for effective management of land and water resources for the benefit of all society. The master study prepares candidates with the various humble ability to work as a team, creatively with a flexible mind, scientific attitude, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

The course is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of Environmental Management. The course is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and information and techniques about the Prevention activities associated with water, air and soil in a comprehensive manner. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and Principles Techniques in an academic discipline such as

Basic of Environment and its Management, Environmental Biology, Environmental Chemistry and Pollution, Environmental Earth Science and Natural Hazards management, Environmental Sampling and Data Analysis, Analytical Methods for Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Law and Management, Basic of Water Supply and Treatment, Environmental Modelling, Air Pollution Management, Wastewater Management, Solid Waste Management and Disposal.

Eligibility

The candidate has to complete Bachelor’s Degree in Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management (B.Sc.Environmental Management), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or any other Bachelor’s Degree with relevant subjects like Botany, Zoology, Geography, Biochemistry, or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 60% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master study program.

In India, some institutes and universities conduct their own entrance examination to get admission to the master's degree course.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

The master’s study requires 2 years of the time period with an internship in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course. The course is not available for part-time and under distance education mode it's a practical based study.
