K.C.S.Kasi Nadar College of Arts & Science dawned in the name of the Philanthropist Thiru.K.C.S.Kasi Nadar on the Adiperukku Nannal in the year 1999.Our College is a place where the student community regardless of race, caste and social-economic class sit at the same table and share the banquet of higher education, bringing the light of knowledge.
Admissions have grown in leaps and bounds . This is our march towards progress. Admissions at K.C.S.Kasi Nadar College Arts Science have been breaking records since inception leaving its footprints on the self-financing college horizon.
K.C.S.Kasi Nadar College Of Arts & Science blossomed in the name of the philianthropist Thiru K.C.S.Kasi Nadar.The College offers Education to the society regardless of race,caste,socio-ecomomic class and sex under the stewardship of Sennaiyilulla Virudhunagar Hindu Nadars’ Abiviruthi Dharma Fund.The nine decade old S.V.H.N.A.Dharma Fund has rendered fabulous service in the field of education and holds on his golden crest the following rubies.
The college motto is EXCEL YOUR KNOWLEDGE. The logo clearly depicts three aspiring youth watching a shooting star rising upward and upward to attain wisdom through a Healthy body, Strong Mind and Spiritual Pursuit.
Our College has helped to bring academic pursuits closer to the lives of the student and teacher. Introduction of extracurricular activities, curricular innovations and examination reforms have made education in the college more meaningful and contemporary. The inducement to sustained industry, the stress on work with practical orientation and methods of learning through oral and written presentations like projects, seminars etc., have enhanced competence and commitment and made for a more exhilarating study ethos and atmosphere. Student teacher participation and the input of experts from outside have uplifted the curricular content.
The college organizes cultural festivals / competitions in public speaking and debating, quiz and creative writing, painting, dramatics and other games of mental and verbal skills which contribute to the balanced development of the students. The college offers 6 graduate courses and 1 post graduate course. The courses offered by the college prepare the students for higher studies and employment in their respective fields. The courses emphasize the development of entrepreneurial skills and enable them to face challenges in life. On-the-job training and Guest Lectures by eminent personnel from the respective fields are the essential part of the course. The students are offered an opportunity to meet and interact with businessmen, industrialists and management consultants.

The Microbiology Association “Microcharon” was inaugurated On the eve of this auspicious event various competitions were conducted and prizes were awarded to the students. Students also exhibited their burgeoning talents by creative exhibits, model presentation, poster presentation etc.
We are pleased to say that the department has been instrumental in moulding the personality of the student by giving guidance on career opportunities and helping them to pursue a successful career.
Our department functioning efficiently in a benevolent institution evocated to produce encyclopedic knowledge students in microbiology fulfilling our college objectives with the support of our dynamic management we produce disciplined as, well as knowledge equipped microbiologists who are not only taught but practically well trained by our eminent professors.

Activities of the Department CORPMAN.COM
Corporate Secretaryship Association was inaugurated by Thiru D.S.Dhayanidhi, Director, K.C.S. Kasi Nadar College of Arts and Science, on 09.10.2006, in the name CORPMAN.COM and a special lecture was delivered on “Opportunities ahead” by Thiru. A.Venkataraman, General Manager, Finance, Tablets India Ltd. The events conducted were subject oriented, giving practical exposure to event conducted were subject oriented, giving practical exposure to the students viz., Guest Lectures, Role Play, Panel Discussion, Group Discussion, Quiz-Brain crunch, Debate, Reference Work, Just a minute, Ship Wreck, Seminars, Exhibition, Cross Word Puzzles and Management Games.
Results/ Achievements – Proud moments
The strength of any department lies not in the number of student studying but in the quality of students sent out of its portal. Viewed in this light, its should be said that out department students have brought name and fame not only to themselves but credit to their Almamater by distinguishing themselves in the University Examination – April 2002. Corporate Secretaryship Department has secured an overall pass percentage of 100% from the first batch and the 2002-2005batch of students. This is indeed a crowing glory for the department and the college.
