Department of Ayurveda under the faculty of ‘Other Sanskrit Studies’ was established in 1994 for providing higher education and research in Ayurveda and other Traditional Medical Sciences. The Department aims to provide a new dimension in Ayurvedic Education, offering interdisciplinary studies in various areas of Ayurveda. The objective of this academic department is to help in the better understanding of Ayurveda, the ancient science of holistic healing, and its applied aspects.
