The Department of Biochemistry & Physiology offers two training to students and one to faculty per year as part of CST, UP funded Centre of Excellence in Agriculture Biotechnology activity. The training is imparted to residents of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from above training students also attend monthly trainings/project work on payment basis as per University norms. The department occupies 2000 sqm in the college of Biotechnology and having two labs for the student of UG and PG course; besides these the department have on infrastructure for two-research lab to carry out the research in the related field of department.

Immunology is the study of our protection from foreign macromolecules or invading organisms and our responses to them. These invaders include viruses, bacteria, protozoa or even larger parasites. In addition immune responses is also developed against our own proteins (and other molecules) in autoimmunity and against own aberrant cells in tumor immunity.
