VISION STATEMENT
The Department of Physics has been organizing conferences, workshops, seminars and group discussions, refresher courses and orientation courses on the latest topics related to the research. This increases the thinking level of teachers and students.
The faculty members in the department have been participating in the conferences, workshops, seminars and group discussions, refresher courses and orientation courses as resource persons. This activity would be continued so that the confidence level of the teachers is enhanced.
The Department organizes seminar competitions, group discussion, quiz competitions, participation in the National Science Day etc consequently the level of the students and the confidence of the student is increased.
The department organizes the lectures of eminent scientists.
The department organizes the educational tours and visit to the companies, factories and research institutions.

MISSION STATEMENT
To make the students compatible with the students of the other universities in the world.
To enhance the confidence level of the teachers and students.
To make the students and teachers aware of the latest knowledge in the world.
To study the current problems faced by the country and to obtain the solutions of the problems like water scarcity, food scarcity, Starvation, energy crisis, environmental pollution, Global warming and problem of terrorist etc.
