Advanced Facilities - Research Lab, In-circuit emulators for microprocessor based product design, PCB design software, MATLAB software with Tool boxes, Lab VIEW, Xilinx’s ISE 9.1 software, Tektronix function generators, Digital storage Oscilloscope, DSP kits, Microcontroller kits, Optical fibre communication kits, Microwave bench, Precision Impedance analyser (Installed in central instrumentation centre), EPROM programmer, etc. Teaching aids like desktop computers, laser printer, multi-function printer, digital camera, LCD/DLP projectors, educational CDs/DVDs, etc. are available. Broad Band Internet Connection at bandwidth of 1 Gbps is made available at the department for the students, researchers and the faculty member. Wi-Fi facility is also available at the department.

Apart from the University library, the department has its own departmental library consisting of 600+ books. Besides traditional resources, our University library is also equipped with INTERNET facilities and E- journals, E-magazines and E-books. Our faculty members take interest in providing students good library facilities and encouraging them for research work. Audio-visual facilities are also extended to the students if required.

Our university has subscribed for IEEE online publications, which is very beneficial for our students as well as teachers. In addition, print copies of the research journals like IEEE transactions on Neural Networks, Fuzzy logic, Signal Processing, Computers are available in central university library (knowledge resource centre), which are used by the faculty members of the department as well as the researchers.

Department always encourages use of Web-based learning resources (NPTEL, MIT OpenCourseWares, SWAYAM, e- PG Pathshala, CEC-UGC YouTube channel, Shodhganga, e-Shodh Sindhu, National Digital Library of India and free Online Courses) for teaching and learning as recommended by Ministry of Education, India

Department provides following teaching-learning methods

=> Experiential learning: Visits, fabrication of electronic circuits, Students are also involved in design and fabrication of experimental kits with a view to facilitate Experiential Learning

=> Participative learning: Seminar presentation, poster presentation, model exhibition, debate competition, quiz competition, guest lecture, etc.

=> Problem solving methodologies used for enhancing learning experiences: Projects, tutorials, Working model competition, etc.

=> Department also offers following ICT enabled tools in addition to online learning resources during pandemic of COVID-19 (lockdown) period, whenever students are denied entry into the university campus as per the government SOPs:

=> Google classroom is used to manage and post course related information- learning material, quizzes, lab submissions and evaluations, assignments, etc.

=> Google Meet/Zoom is used for online interactive teaching

=> Virtual labs (Mobile apps) are used to conduct labs through simulations

=>Google Form is used to conduct quizzes and examinations
