Having this background, on 5th july 1954, the instution of ‘Mayani Bhag Shikshan Prasak Mandal’ was established with just five student by great insighth of Jagannathrao Jadhav (Dada) and Shri S.D. Kuber (sir). The motto (Marahi) +which means ‘Be Bright like the sun’ opend doors of education to the students of Mayani and adjoining villege. Under the able leadership of Adovate Bhausab Gudge (Chairman $ former M.L.A.)and Hon’ble Secrrtory Shri S.D. Kuber (sir), the instution developed with its eight secondary school, a Pharmacy, Jounior and a senior college as well as one English medium school.
