M.Sc Clothing & Textiles- Impart skill and knowledge of Textile fibers, fiber blends yarns and fabric structure. In deptt. understanding of dyeing printing finishing such as block printing, screen, tie & dye, stencil and batik printing etc. Practical learning of fabric construction, through weaving, knitting and off loom weaving techniques.To impart knowledge of garment construction as well as psycho-sociological aspects of clothing for various age groups and occasion.Practical learning of laundering, care, maintenance and proper storage of appeared.Knowledge of fashion designing and merchandising of apparel and textiles.Expertise in computer aided textile designing.
