B.Sc Physiotherapy - Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that works with people to identify and maximise their ability to move and function. Functional movement is a key part of what it means to be healthy and physiotherapy plays a key role in enabling people to improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life. Physiotherapists use their knowledge and skills to identify what is limiting an individual's movement and performance and then help individuals decide how to address their needs. You will learn to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including stroke recovery, sports medicine in hospital and community locations. An innovative problem-based learning approach means you learn from ‘real-life’ clinical scenarios that reflect common conditions that physiotherapist manage and treat. Students are encouraged to share knowledge and previous experiences in order to problem solve and will collaboratively set learning objectives which they will research and feedback, thereby developing lifelong learning skills.
