In this section, learn about the Bachelor of Engineering (BE Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering) course at Sipna College Of Engineering & Technology, Amravati

Department of E & TC believes in establishing professional & technical standards & similar environment in the dept & works at par with this.
The faculties in the dept prove the above facts by discharging their duties & ensure uniformity & continuity in academic functioning of the dept. The faculty facilitates the exchange of information & ideas on allied subject topics.
One faculty has completed his PhD, total 7 faculty members have completed their P.G. , 2 have registered for PhD , 3 have submitted their projects & 3 other are pursuing PG course.

The laboratories of the dept have a strong ethos of practice influencing theory & practical. The dept. has well equipped advanced & furnished, total 6 laboratories to meet the state of art. Keeping track of the rapidly changing technology, there are the latest & modern equipments. The course related computer programming strikes a balance between theory & application. Students learn about real life n/wing environments, making them immediately productive upon graduation & prepared to take on a variety of communication & IT roles. The curriculum builds a solid foundation of basic hands on computer skills & networking concepts. Students learn to adopt & react to the challenges in the changing world of computers .Deeper practical aspects & concepts , administration of complex n/w’s , & programming skills are introduced .The curriculum of the laboratory includes basic courses in computer & s/w Engineering & advanced courses on operating system , embedded system development , computer architectures , quality engineering , & real time object oriented programming , embedded systems & telecommunication s/w. In addition to learning the practical aspects the students also have a better understanding of the close relationship with h/w & simulation models of actual system . Laboratory experiments, assignments & electronic work based simulation are designed to develop “ hands – on “ skills with electronic circuits & to understand limitations & characteristics of electronic circuits. The laboratory set up also aims to develop problem-solving skills by emphasizing the application of conceptual understanding & use of analytical & experimental tools to solve problems in electronic circuits. At the end of the lab schedule, students are able to explain working of electronic devices , analyze design & simulate electronic circuits . Laboratory reports are judged based on technical content as well as professional presentation & appearance.

Students thus get prepared to continue Learning & advancing within the field , allowing themselves to work within an organization to apply their practical knowledge to the field industry at their work places after their placements.
The adoption of collaborative learning strategies seek to ascertain what degree such strategies enhance student learning & persistence & , if so how they do so.

Beyond it’s obvious policy implications, the study provides the context for a series of reflections on the ways in which current theories of student persistence might be modified to account more directly for the role of classroom experience in the process of both student learning & persistence.
