Assam University (AU), Silchar Revaluation Process
The students are allowed by the university to apply for revaluation/re-totalling/ photocopy of answer books immediately after the announcement of the result. Students can apply through an online portal. For revaluation/re-totalling/ photocopy of answer books, candidates have to pay the fees as prescribed by the University. The results will be declared online after the revaluation/re-totalling process. After the valuation, the marks will be entered in front of the examiners. Then, at last, the examiner will check and certify all the marks to the candidates.

About Assam University (AU), Silchar
Assam University is a teaching-cum-affiliating University. Assam University came into existence through the Assam (Central) University Act, 1989 (Established under an Act of Parliament). It was established in 1994, since then the University is steadily becoming an excellent centre of learning. The campus, situated in Dargakona, about 20 km from Silchar, is set amid sprawling hillocks, a typical landscape in the North East. The campus in an area of 600 acres surrounded by lakes and mountains provides an ideal environment for academic pursuit. The University has Sixteen Schools in major disciplines. There are Thirty-Five Departments under these Sixteen Schools. The five districts under the jurisdiction of Assam University have as many as 53 Colleges, which speak of the depth of the intellectual and educational interests in the region.
The university has sixteen schools that offer Social Sciences, Humanities, Languages, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Information Sciences, Technology and Management Studies. There are 35 departments under these sixteen schools. The five districts under the jurisdiction of Assam University have 56 undergraduate colleges. Assam University is an institutional signatory to the Global Universities Network for Innovation (GUNI), Barcelona and United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) for its commitment to educational social responsibilities.
The main campus, in an area of 600 acres (2.4 km2), is located at Dargakona, near Airongmara about 20 km from Silchar, while a second campus of the university is at Diphu, in the East Karbi Anglong district of Assam.
