Department of Mathematics
For one of the fastest growing cities of India, Surat, The Veer Narmad South Gujarat University campus remained a well-organized center for source of knowledge, since it was established independently in the Year 1969. At the same time the Department of Mathematics laid down its foundation jointly with the Department of Statistics. The Post Graduate Mathematics Department in the present University Campus started in the year 1987. This Department has taken the leadership to implement Computer Science courses like, DCA and MCA and later on I.T. courses. This Department is well equipped with advance computational facilities and has resourceful faculty members working in various dimensions.
