AIPMT Exam Pattern - (AIPMT 2010):

Preliminary Examination:

The Preliminary Examination would consist of one paper containing 200 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.

What is JEST ?

A number of reputed institutes in the country have come together to conduct a Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) for enrolment of students in Ph.D. / Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. programs in physics (including various inter-disciplinary research areas in physics) and Theoretical Computer Science.

JEST is conducted for selecting candidates to be interviewed for admission to Ph. D. Programmes in Physics/ Theoretical Computer Science in these institutions in the country.

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprstha University conducts common entrance tests for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The IP CET 2009 would be held on 24th May, 30th May, 31st May, 1st June, 2nd June, 3rd June, 4th June, 5th June, 6th June, 7th June, 8th June and 9th June.

The Detailed schedule of GGSIP CET 2009 are given below-

A Common Entrance Test, designated as Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test – 2010 (EAMCET – 2010) of Andhra Pradesh will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE for entry into the first year of the following professional courses offered for the academic year 2010-2011 in various government and private colleges of Andhra Pradesh. The various courses, which you can enroll in, are as follows:

The Programme of Action (PoA), 1992 under the National Policy on Education (NPE), 1986 envisaged conduct of a common entrance examination on all India basis for admission to professional and technical programs in the country. For admission to Engineering and Architecture/Planning programs, Government of India vide Resolution dated 18th October 2001 has laid down a Three - Exam Scheme (JEE and AIEEE at the National Level and the State Level Engineering Entrance Examinations (SLEEE) for State Level Institutions - with an option to join AIEEE).

WBJEE 2010 Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering / Technology / Medical /Dental /Veterinary and Pharmacy in Universities/Colleges in West Bengal and B. Arch Course in Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur and Jadavpur University for the academic session 2010-2011, on the basis of a JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION, to be conducted by the "WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS BOARD".
