One of the country’s premier hotel management institute, V.M Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE) will host international faculty members Sebastien Semenzi and Georges Ortiz for the next few months at its sprawling campus in Raia, South Goa..
Sebastian Semenzi and Georges Ortiz will be at the institute for the next few months and will train the students in the finer nuances of hospitality.
Chowgule College will be conducting a three day certificate course on Personal Grooming and Personality Enhancement in November, 2014. The course will commence from 4th November, 2014.
The course will be conducted by Harshita Saxena, Miss India 2009 and a personal trainer and groomer. The three day course will cover aspects of personality enhancement, communication skills, confidence building, and dressing up, lifestyle management, public speaking, phone etiquette, table etiquette and general etiquette.

Goa,15th October 2014: Goa Institute of Management (GIM) one of the premier B-schools of India has recently appointed Dr. C. Joe Arun, SJ. as the new Director of the management institute effective 30th August 2014. Dr Joe Arun was selected by the Search Committee of the Board of GIM.
A Jesuit priest, Fr. C. Joe Arun, SJ. completed his PhD from Oxford University prior to completing an MBA from IIBM, Delhi.
The Spanish Centre of Chowgule College, Margao has announced the commencement of new batches of Spanish language classes. The new batch of Spanish Basic A1.1 level will commence from Monday, 20th Classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3-30 to 5-30 p.m. or from 6-00 to 8-00 p.m. depending on the convenience of maximum number of students. It will involve 60 hours of learning spread over ten weeks. Examination will be conducted in December, 2014.
The course will be conducted by Spanish national Ms. Edith Aurrecoechea, an expert in the subject.
Chowgule College to begin new batches for Spanish language course
The Spanish Centre of Chowgule College, Margao has announced the commencement of new batches of Spanish language classes. The course will begin from
September, 2014 and will be conducted at the college premises.
Classes will begin from September, 2014 onwards every Wednesday & Friday from 4.00 to 6.00 pm, or 5-00 to 8-00 pm or 6-00 to 9-00 pm. The timings are flexible.
Discussion Forum on ‘Listen to Your Child’ held at Chowgule College
A discussion forum on ‘Listen to Your Child’ was recently organised by the Department of Psychology, Chowgule College, Margao at their college premises.
Dr. Belinda Muella, Psychiatrist, Ms. Brenda D’cruz, Principal of Manovikas School, Vishwanath Swar, Professor at M.E.S. College and Advocate Prasanna Timble, Professor at Kare College, Mrs. Almeida, Former Principal of Kings School were invited as chief guests for the event.
