Department of Applied Physics

The department of Applied Physics was established in 2006 in the Uttaranchal Institute of Technology to teach both theoretical & experimental Physics to all the students of engineering undergraduate courses of all trades. After the establishment of Uttaranchal University, it was actually felt that a B.Sc (Hon) in Physics with adequate engineering course contents could expand the job opportunities for degree holders in various organizations.
