Department of Agriculture

The B.Sc (Agri.) course is an under graduate course related to the field of agriculture. The focus of this study is on agriculture. Under this course students are trained about the most modern methods used in fertilizers; plant bio- technology .The course apart from training in scientific skills also trains in marketing skills of agriculture products. Under this study the students are exposed to real life rural settings so that they can understand the problems of farmers and rural people and find solutions to their problems.

Infrastructure

The Agriculture labs are well equipped for teaching and learning core and specialized curriculum. State-of-the-art agricultural chemistry laboratory is established for conducting chemical analyses of diverse plant and soil samples as a part of curriculum. Plant pathology lab, Microbiology lab and other teaching labs are well equipped with demonstration aids, models, specimens and experimental support systems. Central computer facility with 1500computers and internet connectivity is functional in the campus.
