Department of Biostatistics

The Department was created in the year 1954 with Dr. Ranganathan as statistician. Later, Dr. N. Sundararaj, joined as faculty member. Presently, the Department has four faculty members and three scientific staff.

The department has Ph.D. program in Biostatistics. Teaching of biostatistical and research methods is undertaken to M.Phil in Clinical Psychology, Psychiatric Social Work, Biophysics, Neurosciences, M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing, B.Sc. in Nursing, DM Neurology, M.Ch. in Neurosurgery and pre-Ph.D students.
