Master of Physiotherapy in Pediatric Neurology

Eligiblity:

Candidates admitted to the Master's degree programme in physiotherapy should have passed the B.P.T. Degree examination of any University accepted by the authority of this university as equivalent.

Course Details:

Master of Physiotherapy in Pediatrics is a two years postgraduate Physiotherapy degree level course of study in India. The pediatrics physiotherapy study emphasis on the development of the health of children in early detection of the problems and treatments, especially with concerns such as body postures and main motor skills.

There is a physiological difference in the body of an adult and child therefore in the treatment of kid or adolescent, such as durian are considered like trauma injuries or musculoskeletal problem, flat feet, gait problem, torticollis, hypermobility, arthritis, knee problem in the bone and joints. Paediatric Physiotherapy also takes care of development disorders and brain and nervous system complications.

The master study prepares candidates with the ability of critical thinking, logical reasoning to identify the strengths and weakness of attentive solutions conclusions or approaches to problems. The program provides a sound knowledge of both practical and theoretical aspects of the specialist area of pediatrics physiotherapy and the necessary skills to undertake research activity.

The course of study is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of pediatrics physiotherapy. Eligibility

The candidate has to complete Bachelor Degree such as Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s degree study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

This course requires study requires 2 years of time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning, study option to earn this degree.

Further Studies

After the successful completion of this course, candidates can also pursue the higher studies and do Ph.D. (Doctorate in pediatrics physiotherapy), and specialization or research oriented work in their respective
field.
