Department of Veterinary Anatomy & Histology
The Department of Veterinary Anatomy started functioning since the inception of the College in the year 1955. The department handles three major aspects viz. Gross Anatomy, Microscopic Anatomy/Histology and Developmental Anatomy/Embryology. All these three areas have their right place in the teaching of Veterinary & Animal Sciences. They form the solid foundation upon which are built the several other disciplines, both clinical and non-clinical. Without a sound basic knowledge of anatomy, it is not possible for the student/ research worker to grasp other subjects in the Veterinary field.
