The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been one of the core branches, which was started right at the inception of the Karunya University in 1986. The department thrives on technical and professional excellence and as on date, it has matured into a pillar of strength for the Karunya University. In order to raise skilled professionals and to meet the manpower of the rapidly growing Industrial base and infrastructure of our country, the department is offering undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering, Post Graduate Diploma programmes in Advanced Manufacturing and Petroleum and Natural gases flow measurement and Instrumentation and Post graduate courses in the thrust areas of Thermal Science, Manufacturing and Engineering Design.
