DOEACC 'O'
The DOEACC 'O' Level is the foundation (Junior Programmer ) level course which provides students with an insight into the operational and programming aspects of computers . The course structure has been designed keeping in mind a student who is a beginner in the world of computers but can ultimately be groomed as an assistant programme, and can start a career in computer operations in various fields. The course duration is one year and is covered in approximately 480 contact hours . It comprises of four papers and a project leading to DOEACC 'O' Level certification.
Accel Certified RTOS Engineer
Accel Certified RTOS Engineer - The RTOS engineer is a generalist responsible for maintaining base RTOS functionality on the main processors. This includes porting RTOS kernel and off-the-shelf device drivers to target hardware platforms and troubleshooting kernel or scheduler configuration issues, and creating customized BSPs or SDKs as needed. This engineer should have detailed knowledge of processor datasheets and has the ability to focus on I/O configuration. This engineer would also be responsible for bootloader work to enable software loading without the need for using JTAG.
Advanced Technician Course in Tool Room Machine Operator
Advanced Technician Course in Tool Room Machine Operator - Machine tool technology is at the heart of many industrial processes. In this program, you will learn about micrometer precision measurement, dial indicators, optical comparators, and gauges. You will also have the opportunity to use machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, computers, and computer-controlled machines (CNC).
Maya
Maya - Maya 3D animation, modeling, simulation, rendering, and compositing software offers a comprehensive creative feature set on a highly extensible production platform. Maya provides high-end character and effects toolsets along with increased productivity for modeling, texturing, and shader creation tasks.
Microcontroller
Microcontroller - This is a small and low-cost type of computer that runs a program stored in non-volatile memory. Configuring a microcontroller for a system generally requires an experienced programmer, and closing loops such as position and velocity can be quite difficult. Often, when one designs a servo system using a microcontroller, one will have the amplifier/drive close the desired loops, while the microcontroller simply sends particular commands back to the amplifier. These commands may be dependent on inputs into the microcontroller (sensors, switches, etc).
Networking Concepts
Networking Concepts - At this point you should know how to do computer controlled measurements. However, the computer you use is probably connected to a network, and that connection allows for some interesting possibilities. In particular, you can take measurements and do control remotely.
Real Time Operating systems
Real Time Operating systems - A Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) is a computing environment that reacts to input within a specific time period. A real-time deadline can be so small that system reaction appears instantaneous. The term real-time computing has also been used, however, to describe "slow real-time" output that has a longer, but fixed, time limit. An RTOS has an advanced algorithm for scheduling. Scheduler flexibility enables a wider, computer-system orchestration of process priorities, but a real-time OS is more frequently dedicated to a narrow set of applications.
Certification Computing (CC)
Certification Computing (CC) - This short-term programme aims to fulfil the need of a large section of people interested in basic computer education by effectively employing the distance education mode.
