Accel Certified RTOS Engineer - The RTOS engineer is a generalist responsible for maintaining base RTOS functionality on the main processors. This includes porting RTOS kernel and off-the-shelf device drivers to target hardware platforms and troubleshooting kernel or scheduler configuration issues, and creating customized BSPs or SDKs as needed. This engineer should have detailed knowledge of processor datasheets and has the ability to focus on I/O configuration. This engineer would also be responsible for bootloader work to enable software loading without the need for using JTAG. The RTOS engineer is responsible for maintaining not only the operating system that runs on the target hardware platform, but also the operating system that runs on any emulator that is designed as part of the project.
