Course Details:

Master of Cosmetic Technology (MCT), is a two years postgraduate academic medicine degree course in India. The cosmetic technology is a study of science which is used to enhance the appearance of the human body.
The master medical study is a combination of chemical compounds, derived from natural sources.The study provides in-depth knowledge related to cosmetic products with other related science like Dermatology, Formulation Development, Physical Pharmacy, Herbal Technology and Regulatory issues related to cosmetic science and technology.

The course is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of Cosmetic Technology.The course is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and information about the appearance of the human body.

The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of Principles and Techniques in an academic discipline such as the principle of Cosmetic Technology, Herbal Technology, Skin Dermatology, Analytical Techniques in Cosmetic Products, Approaches to cosmetic Research and Biostatistics, Raw Material in Cosmetic, Cosmetic Product development and consumer Research, Production Management for Cosmetic.

Eligibility

The candidate has to complete Bachelor’s Degree like B.Sc in (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Life Science, Environmental Science), B.Pharm, B.E.Bio-Technology, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgeon (MBBS), Bachelor of Dential Surgeon (BDS), Bio-Medical Engineering, or any other Bachelor’s Degree with relevant subjects, or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master of Cosmetic Technology (MCT), professional study program.

Some colleges and institutes conducts their own Entrance Examination for admission to the Master of Cosmetic Technology (MCT), degree course. some institute take the personal interview and asked few questions on General Knowledge, Personality, Intelligence Assessment and English Language.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

The master study requires 2 years of the time period with an internship in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course. The course is not available for part-time and under distance education mode as it's a practical based study.
