The Master of Physiotherapy in Cardiopulmonary Science (MPT. Cardiopulmonary), is a two years postgraduate Physiotherapy degree level course of study in India. The program is designed to prepare candidates for the various way and method of treatment and exuberating with the cardiological problem, therapies on the human heart, by going through all this way candidates are able to understand the response of the heart to various exercise and therapies is taught in detail under the interdisciplinary course.

The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and principles techniques in an academic discipline such as Medical and Surgical Management of Disorder of the Cardiopulmonary System, Physiotherapy Management in Disorder of the Cardiopulmonary System, Research Methodology and Biostatistics, Basic Computer Application, clinical Practice, Pedagogy in Cardiopulmonary System Education, Management / Administration and Ethical Issues, Biomechanics.
The candidate has to complete Bachelor Degree such as Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s degree study program.
This course requires study requires 2 years of time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning, study option to earn this degree.
After the successful completion of this course, candidates can also pursue the higher studies and do Ph.D. (Doctorate in Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy ), and specialization or research oriented work in their respective field.
