The course is designed to trained Physicians to undertake eye surgeries. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of the academic discipline of Optometry such as Visual Optics, Lighting & Eye, Medical Pathology & Microbiology (General & Ocular), Pharmacology, Ophthalmic Lens & Dispensing Optics, Low Vision Aids & Visual Rehabilitation.
Eligibility
The candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Education or an Equivalent Examination, for Science stream and additional subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, minimum 50% marks are eligible for pursuing this program.Entrance Examination
