PMJF. Lion G.Nagarajn belongs to a renowned family of philanthropists which has rich experience in establishing and managing technical institutions successfully for over a decade. He is the immediate past District Governor of Lions International. He is actively involved in a number of educational, business, social and spiritual organizations. He is determined to develop the Raja College of Engineering and Technology as one of the leading institutions in the country.Raja College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai was established by the Arun Ramkumar Educational Trust founded by PMJF.Lion G. Nagarajan. The College started functioning during the academic year 1995-96 with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Government of Tamilnadu. The College has obtained ISO 9000-2001 Certification in the year 2005. The College is located in a sprawling campus around 6 kms from Anna Bus stand on Madurai-Sivagangai road.

About Training and Placement

Placement and Training Cell is headed by Dr.P.Rajamani and assisted by Mr.P.Senthil Pandian. The cell has been provided with complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards arranging placement and training opportunities for the students.

Reputed industrial houses across the country visit our institute regularly for the campus recruitment programmes. Our pioneering efforts have brone fruits in achieving academic-industrial rapport and we are proud that our students are absorbed by leading giants in the industrial firmament. Training activities are organized for preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes.The cell is designed to function with a high degree of professionalism. It provides almost instantaneous data to the corporate sector with regard to the candidates available for consideration towards placement in accordance with the prescribed requirements. Indeed, we have been appreciated more often by the industrial houses for this special feature embedded in our work philosophy. The placement cell manages its activities collectively by the students and all Head of Departments. The Staff coordinators support in all the PTC activities. The Placement cell has adopted an effective communication system to keep the students informed about potential job opportunities and guide from time to time.
