Located in Adhiparasakthi Engineering College was established in the year 1984 with the blessings of the Founder President His Holiness Arulthiru Bangaru Adigalar in order to meet the growing demands for engineers in the modern industries. The institution is governed by the Vice President of the ACMECT Thirumathi Lakshmi Bangaru Adigalar as chairperson. The institution is one of the prestigious educational institutions functioning under the Adhiparasakthi Charitable, Medical, Educational and Cultural Trust., The institution is approved by the Government of Tamilnadu and the All India Council for Technical Education and is affiliated to Anna University., On the first decade of its growth the college has been a pioneer in bringing out spiritually binded powerful engineers aptly referred to as Sakthi Engineers. The college completed its second decade recently and the college has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation, AICTE., From the day of inception the college has been growing from strength to strength. The college campus is spread over a wide area accommodating spacious buildings to house workshops, laboratories, computer centre, hostels and other infrastructural facilities. The college has sound infrastructure on par with any of the leading technical institutions. A team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty guides the students in the pursuit of technological excellence and perfection. A strong theoretical base and a sound practical exposure through in plant training and industrial visits prepare the students to meet any challenge in the field., Participation in technical activities like paper presentation, seminars and workshop at home and outside update the students knowledge and know-how in the latest development of their field., The college was started with three undergraduates courses in the year 1984 followed by the more courses in 1993 and a Chemical Engineering course in the year 1997. Two postgraduate courses, viz, Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications were started in the year 1996 & 1998 respectively, followed by B.Tech Information Technology., The college has chalked out a perspective plan, being guided by eminent engineers from institutions of higher learning and industrialists, so as to develop and strengthen the academic activities of the college and to keep in tune with the demands of the rapidly changing industrial needs.
