Department of Dermatology
The study of skin and its problems require skill and sensitivity. To understand this discipline, you will be placed under six highly qualified faculty members who have wide experience in teaching innovatively and effectively with state of the art methodology.
The faculty members believe that an interactive mode of study and observation sharpens one's skills. Many of the faculty members have participated, presented or chaired sessions in the regional and national conferences in dermatology held over the last 5 years. Original research papers have been presented in national and international journals. The faculty also conduct and take part in CME programs as well as current research work, as part of routine programs. A beginning has been made in cosmetology to keep abreast with the social demands of a progressive culture.

Curriculum :
Undergraduate students learn first-hand by seeing and diagnosing a wide variety of skin problems from all sections of society. You will have access to modern and scientific techniques, in line with the trends in medical education worldwide. The curriculum includes student presentation, interaction, feedback and workshop. The department is recognized for training post graduates with an annual in take of four students.
