These include all the dietary supplements, functional food and medical food. These chemical components are derived from plant, food, and microbial sources, and provide medicinal benefits valuable to long-term health viz. probiotics, antioxidants, and phytochemicals. Food and nutrition companies foresee a great deal of promise from nanotechnology in novel food products.
