Eligibility

Class 9th to 12th students (studying in schools affiliated with any State, Central or International board) & droppers (after class 12th) are eligible for the test.

Test Pattern

  • All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct
  • Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 200)
  • The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour

Class 9, 10, 11: (JEE & NEET aspirants)

  • Paper will contain 2 sections – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
  • Each section will contain 25 questions (total 50 questions)

Class 12 & Droppers: (JEE aspirants)

  • Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
  • Each section will contain 10 questions (total 30 questions)

Class 12 & Droppers: (NEET aspirants

  • Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Biology
  • Physics & Chemistry will contain 15 questions each. Biology section will contain 30 questions (Total 60 questions).

  • MAT – 25 questions on Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation
  • SAT – 25 questions from Maths & Science syllabus of class 8

Class 10

  • MAT – 25 questions on Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation
  • SAT – 25 questions from Maths & Science syllabus of class 9

Class 11
JEE aspirants:

  • MAT – 25 questions on Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation
  • SAT – 25 questions from Maths & Science (Physics & Chemistry) syllabus of class 10

NEET Aspirants

  • MAT – 25 questions on Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation
  • SAT – 25 questions from Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) syllabus of class 10

Class 12:

  • JEE aspirants:10 questions each on Physics, Chemistry & Maths from class 11th syllabus
  • NEET aspirants:15 questions each on the Physics & Chemistry, and 30 questions on Biology from class 11th syllabus

Droppers

  • JEE aspirants:10 questions each on Physics, Chemistry & Maths from class 11th & 12th syllabus
  • NEET aspirants:15 questions each on the Physics & Chemistry, and 30 questions on Biology from class 11th & 12th syllabus

How to Apply

  • VSAT is completely Online (https://vsat.vedantu.com/)
  • You will be able to attempt the test by logging into VSAT website www.vas.vedantu.com with your VSAT credentials (VSAT Login ID/Password) that you had created at the time of registering for VSAT
