The Sarojini Damodaran Foundation extends a warm welcome to prospective applicants for the Vidyadhan Punjab 11th Standard Scholarship Program 2023. The Vidyadhan Scholarship Program, which is administered by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation, is dedicated to supporting the pursuit of higher education among exceptionally talented students hailing from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
The selection process for these students takes place upon the successful completion of the 10th-grade/SSLC, involving a comprehensive assessment, including examinations and interviews. Presently, the Vidyadhan program accommodates approximately 6500 students across multiple states, including Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Odisha, New Delhi, and Ladakh. Scholarship Awards
The maximum scholarship amount for 11th and 12th-grade students is capped at Rs. 10,000 per year.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Prospective applicants should come from families with an annual income of less than Rs. 2 Lakhs. They must also be 10th-grade/SSC graduates from Punjab in the year 2023, achieving a remarkable score of 80% or holding an 8 CGPA in their 10th-grade / SSLC examination. The minimum cutoff mark for students with disabilities is 70%.
Application Process
To apply online, it is imperative to possess a personal email account. Using the email ID of a cyber café or DTP center is discouraged, as all future correspondence will be directed to the registered email address. Mandatory Documentation
The submission of scanned copies of the following documents is mandatory:
- Recent photograph
- 10th-grade mark sheet (In case the original is unavailable, provisional/online mark sheets from the SSLC/CBSE/ICSC website are acceptable)
- Income certificate (Issued by a competent authority; ration cards will not be accepted.)
Selection Procedure
SDF will shortlist candidates based on their academic achievements and the information provided in the application forms. Shortlisted individuals will be invited to participate in a brief online examination or interview.
