Department of Oral Medicine Diagnosis & Dento Maxillofacial Radiology

This is a specialty in dentistry dealing with :

1.Diagnosis and medical management of diseases of the oral mucosa, teeth, jaws and the salivary glands.

2.Medical management of oro-facial pain and temporomandibular joint disease.

3.Dental management of medical compromised patients.

4.Interpretation and evalution of radiographs, CT, MRI for diseases affecting head and neck region.

Where in the under graduate students are taught for diamnostic methods and treatment of dental & mucosal diorders. It is also involved in training the post graduate students for basic research methodologies having four post graduate student per year & overall working for the betterment of oral health of the patients.
