Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU Kakinada) is a public university located in Kakinada, East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The university has been accredited by the NAAC of UGC with ‘A’ grade. JNTUK has been admitted to the World Bank Aid through a programme called Technical Education Quality Programme (TEQIP) under which Rs.12 crores aid will be provided. JNTU Kakinada has two constituent colleges of Engineering, one at Kakinada and the other at Vijayanagaram.
