This College is promoted by Hindu College Committee who have been pioneers in the field of Education since 1934. Many eminent persons like Governors, Chief Ministers, Election Commissioners, Pitadhipathis, Scholars, Scientists, Vice Chancellors, IRS, IAS & IPS officers have been produced with the basic education of Primary, Secondary, College and professional education by the institutions run by the committee over the past 160 years. This college is affiliated to JNTU, Kakinada and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The college is centrally located in Amaravathi Road, Guntur spreadover in 6 acres of land.

Hindu College Committee established in the year 1934 is to impart the education at theDegree level for Arts, Commerce &Sciencewas inaugurated by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the then vice chancellor of Andhra University, and the former president of India.
