Bachelor of Technology (BTech Mining Engineering)

B.Tech Mining Engineering program emphasizes on interdisciplinary aspects of both Sciences and Engineering. The curriculum comprises topics that are essential for understanding the intricacies of Mining Engineering such as Mine-surveying, Mining Mechanization, role of Robotics Engineering and more. The program also introduces the students to emerging aspects pertaining to study of mine environment, sustainable mining, mineral quality analytics, India-specific placer deposits, open-cast coal/ iron/ aluminum/ potash/ fluorite/ and other industrial minerals.This undergraduate course equips the students with the skill-set that is required to build a successful career in the Mining industry. The course is designed to provide in-depth understanding of concepts, future requirement and techno-commercial aspects of the domain so that the students walk out as well trained and competent engineers ready to enter the Mining industry and acquire leadership and success.
