Sardar Raja College of Engineering(SRCE),the 3rd engineering college of Rajas Colleges,was established in August 2000 by Raja Educational Charitable Trust(RECT). The college is located near Alangulam on the Thirunelveli-Tenkasi-Kollam national highways, is very near to the Courtallam hills,the famous tourist spot for waterfalls in South Tamilnadu,provides a personalized atmosphere to study.The college is dedicated to educating students by combining traditional academic values with innovative teaching and advance technology, to deal with the major issues of the society over the next generation: job opportunities,enchancing competitiveness, improving health care, non-polluted environment and supporting a sophisiticated infrastructure.
Sardar Raja College of Engineering, under the Chairmanship of Sardar Dr.S.A.Raja. was established in the year 2000 approved by AICTE vide No.732-52136/RDEG/2000 Dt.14-7-2000 & Affiliated by Anna University, Chennai. The special feature of this college is that it is easily accessible to the students from Kerala because it falls in the border area between Kerala and Tamilnadu. The college is situated at Alangulam which is 17 kms from Tenkasi and Courtalam, the place well known for the waterfalls. It is on the highway connecting Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu and Kollam in Kerala. The total distance between Alangulam and Kollam is 10kms.

Sardar Raja College of Engineering - SRCE came into existence in the year 2000 by the side of Tenkasi-Tirunelveli Highway on a Sprawling Campus of more than 25 acres under the leadership of Er.A.Jesus Raja. After completing his BE in Mechanical Engg, he went on to do his Post Graduate in Business Management. The college has been progressing well under his dynamic leadership.
