The modern computerized Library has more than Thirty thousand volume of books covering various areas of computer sciences, Life Science and Arts. It has subscriptions of three hundred journals. The Audio Visual Centre & CD ROM Workstation has an impressive collection of thousands of video cassettes & CD ROMs. The Computerized catalogue could be accessed in the library.
Sports facilities are available in the campus. Annual Sports event is held in the month of December in every year
State of the - art auditorium with the capacity of 1500 seats in the premises to cater and satisfy the student community.
Seminar Hall
Fully Equipped and air conditioned seminar hall is to fulfill the needs of expert lectures in and off campus.
Twenty Five buses are made available to facilitate the staff and students. The buses are operated from Ariyalur, Pennadam, Thozhudur, Thuraiyur, Veeraganur and Trichy.
The students while traveling in the college bus must behave in a decent manner. They should not create any problem with the driver or cleaner. The buses will stop only at the stage that is fixed by the transport division. The students Co-operation is expected for the smooth functioning of the transport facilities extended towards them.
The College has a hostel named after the Father of the Institutions as Thanthai Hans Roever Hostel and the Phone number is 04328-277919.
Admission Procedures
Application for admission to the hostel along with prescribed form can be had from the office on payment. A student seeking admission should be accompanied by his parent/authorized Guardian and only after an interview by the Principal / Warden he/she will be given admission.
Admission will depend on the decision of the Management. Senior student wishing to be re admitted shall apply again in the prescribed form after meeting the Deputy Warden with the Parent / Guardian. Dismissal or suspension of a member from the College will involve automatic dismissal or suspension from the hostel, such students shall not enter the hostel without the permission of the Principal.
Students admitted to the hostel will not be allowed to stay outside the college during the period of their course.
The Managing authorities have the right to terminate the membership of the hostel, for breach of discipline or for any grave offence even in the middle of the academic year.
Mess
Mess is run on fixed rate per day basis.
Inmates of the hostel are not allowed to enter the kitchen premises. Complaints and suggestions about food or service must be made to the Deputy warden in a proper manner.
They should conduct themselves decently in the dining hall.
The following timings shall be observed strictly by the inmates.
Breakfast : 7.30 a.m. to 8.30 a.m
Lunch : 1.00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m
Dinner : 7.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m
Study and Silence Hours
The Inmates are asked to adhere the following rules strictly.
Study Hours : 9.00 pm to 10.00 pm
Silence Hour : 10.00 pm to 6.00 am
Lights off : 11.00 pm
Free time : 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm (on week days)
4.30 pm to 10.00 pm (on Sunday)
During silence hour, there must be absolute silence in the hostel and inmates are asked not to sing, switch on the transistor, radio, tape recorder or play on musical instruments or indoor games.
Ragging
Ragging is a serious offence. Any student found guilty of ragging will be dealt very severely even to the extent of expulsion from the college and Hostel.
Guests and Visitors
Guests are not allowed to stay in the hostel at any time. Day Scholars are not permitted to enter the hostel.
Medical facilities are extended to the students in case of sickenss with utmost care and affection.
Internet center with 2MB satellite link. A separate Cyber-Net cafe with broad band internet facility with 512 kbps is dedicated to students which operate round the clock.
An amiable, hygienic and delicious food courts are available in different parts of the campus.
