The C.S.I Institute of Technology is a Christian Minority Engineering College, established in 1995 by the church of south India (C.S.I), Kanyakumari Diocese. It is a pioneer in the field of education and successfully running Arts and Science Colleges, Polytechnic Colleges, Industrial Training Institutes, Nursing College, Pharmacy College, Number of Primary and Higher Secondary Schools, Hospitals, Deaf and Dumb School, Blind School and Day Care Centers in Kanyakumari District.

The CSIIT has been established for imparting high quality engineering education to the students. Its ultimate goal is to emphasize Christian moral values and to mould every student to become fit to face the challenges of advancing technology.

It provides opportunities for the students to think, to grow, to face challenges out of dynamic learning opportunities and equipping them to take up any responsibilities in the society. CSIIT is a home aesthetically designed building with well stocked library, well equipped Laboratories, modern workshops, Seminar halls, specious auditorium and sports and games fields.

The outcome of the ideals is the bloom of this glorious instituion, 'The C.S.I.Institute of Technology'. It has six academic departments and offers six undergraduate programmes and five postgraduate. The institute has a highly qualified and motivated faculty.

The Institute prepares students to meet the ever-increasing technological and social challenges with its tradition of self-discipline, hard work and all round personality developement. An extensive infrastructure exists to imbibe and cultivate these attributes among the students. Above all, it has been awarded ISO 9001 : 2000 Certificate recently. This Institute has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai.
