      Tamizhan College of Engineering and Technology, Kanyakumari was established in 2008 by Mr.K.ThiruKadaluthayam. The college is promoted by Ponkasi Uthayam Educational & Charitable Trust. The Chairman ventured into the realm of providing quality technical education to both urban and rural students. The college is affiliated to Anna University, Tirunelveli and is offering four degree courses. Their vision is to impart practical training and to enhance the skills on technology,leadership quality and social behavior of the youth.
