All India Council for Technical Education granted approval to this college Vide Order No. 06/05/TN/E&I/2008/04 dt.30.06.2008. The Government of Tamil Nadu and Anna University granted the recognition and affliction in the same year. The college was affiliated to Anna University Tirunelveli in the beginning. Since the academic year 2009 – 2010, the college started functioning under Anna University of Technology, Tirunelveli, and now it is affiliated to Anna University Chennai. In pursuit of excellence, a quality management system has been developed in the line with ISO 9001-2000 and implemented in this college. Immanuel Arasar JJ College of engineering is located at the lap of the Western Ghats at Nattalam in Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu. It is near to Marthandam at 2.5 Km and well connected with roads and railways. The college campus with calm and serene atmosphere of salubrious climate.
