Sasurie Academy of Engineering (SAE) was established in the year 2007 to impart quality education. The institution owes its foundation to the bold and inspired vision of Shri. A. M. Kandaswami, Founder Chairman of the Ponmudi Muthusamy Gounder Trust, Tirupur.

SAE is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Anna University. It is The Institution is Certified ISO 9001:2008 by M/s. TUV Germany.

SAE now with six full-fledged departments offering six undergraduate engineering program, 2 postgraduate engineering programs and MBA.

The college is presently offering Five Under-Graduate courses and Five Post-Graduate courses in Engineering.
