Department of Chemistry

The Department of chemistry is a regular post graduate department of North Orissa University and offers courses in Post graduate and doctoral levels in emerging fields of chemistry. The syllabus of M. Sc. and Ph. D. programmes have been framed according to UGC curriculum and as per the syllabus of various National level tests. Various topics in frontier area of chemistry such as green chemistry, materials chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, bio-inorganic/organic/physical chemistry, computational chemistry, polymer chemistry etc. have also been included in the courses to make the course more professional and job oriented.
