Department of Mechanical Engineering

The department of Mechanical and Automobile engineering draws its strength from a team of dedicated faculty members with both academic and industrial experience. The department offers UG and PG programmes in Mechanical and Automobile engineering streams. The department is well equipped with laboratories like Machine shop , Strength of materials lab, CAD/CAM lab, Mechatronics lab, Fluid Mechanics and Machinery lab, two and three wheeler lab, Automotive Engine Components lab, Automotive Chassis and Transmission Lab, Automotive Electrical and Electronic Laboratory, Fuel Testing and Internal Combustion Engines Laboratory, Heat and Mass Transfer Laboratory, Auto Scanning and Vehicle testing Lab, Automobile Vehicle Maintenance and Reconditioning lab etc. The software packages available in the department include Solid works, Edge-CAM and ANSYS.
