Dhubri Post Graduate Teachers Training DPGTT College is the first teachers training BEd College set up in Dhubri district. It is laid the foundation stone on 31st March 1991 under the initiative of some eminent persons of the District. It is one and only teachers training college in Dhubri district which fulfilled the long felt need of the district. The college obtained NCTE recognition in 1998 ERC letter No F AS-S/E-7/97/6305 dated 3.06.98.

Deomornoi BEd College, Darrang established in 1993 as the only Government Teaching Training College in Darrang district. The first permission for starting the college was given by Gauhati University. The temporary affiliation was given by Gauhati University and recognition grant was given by NCTE. Bhubaneswar for the session 99-2000 by an office letter vide No F ERC/ C I 8 /98/7163dtd. 25-11-98.

Dakshin Guwahati BEd College was established in 20th August,1993 in Fatashil Ambari, Guwahati-25. The institution was recognised for BEd Programme for 2 units, by NCTE and affiliated by Gauhati University.The NCTE has granted recognition to this college in the year 2005 with the intake capacity of 100 students. Since then the college is running smoothly 7 properly.

Dr Anita Baruah Sarmah College of Education is a Teachers' Training College, established in the year 2004.The College was established earlier by NERIM Educational Society in the name and style of 'NERIM Teachers' Training College'. However, the name of the college was changed to Dr Anita Baruah Sarmah College of Education in the year 2006 after the premature demise of Dr Anita Baruah Sarmah, one of the chief founders of NERIM Educational Society.

College of Education, Nagaon was established in 1992 as a result of the effort of some educationists of Nagaon. It is one of the premier teacher training institute of Assam. Its classes were first held in Dawson Higher Secondary School,Nagaon.
