CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2026: Download Hall Ticket at csirnet.nta.ac.in

The CSIR UGC NET Admit Card is released online by the National Testing Agency approximately 3 to 4 days prior to the commencement of the examination. Prior to the hall ticket, NTA issues the Advance City Intimation Slip to help candidates plan their travel to the allotted exam centre.

Steps to Download CSIR UGC NET Hall Ticket

  1. Visit the official examination portal: csirnet.nta.ac.in
  2. Click on the active link labeled 'Download Joint CSIR-UGC NET Admit Card'.
  3. Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth (DOB), and the security PIN shown on the screen.
  4. Submit the details to view your admit card.
  5. Download the PDF and print at least two colored copies on clean A4 paper.

Carefully verify the following information on your hall ticket:

  • Candidate Name, Roll Number, and Application Number
  • Photograph and Signature
  • Exam Date, Shift Timing, and Reporting Time
  • Name and Complete Address of the Examination Centre
  • Subject of Examination & Applied Category (JRF / Assistant Professor / Ph.D.)
  • Important Exam Day Instructions & Self-Declaration Undertaking

Mandatory Documents to Carry to Exam Centre

  • Printed copy of Admit Card along with Self-Declaration (Undertaking) filled clearly.
  • One original, valid photo identification (Aadhaar Card with photo / PAN Card / Voter ID / Passport / Driving License).
  • One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the application form) for pasting on the attendance sheet.
  • PwD Certificate issued by competent authority (if claiming relaxation/scribe).
  • Simple transparent ballpoint pen and personal transparent water bottle.
