Mandatory Requirements for 2026 Registration

Starting this year, the Maharashtra CET Cell has introduced two critical authentication steps:

  1. APAAR ID: The Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID is now mandatory. Candidates must generate this via the DigiLocker app or the official APAAR portal using their Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
  2. Aadhaar Authentication: Your Name, Date of Birth, and Gender on the application form must match your Aadhaar card exactly.

How to Fill MAH B.Ed CET 2026 Application Form

Follow this step-by-step process to ensure a successful submission:

Step 1: Account Creation & Registration

Visit the official portal at cetcell.mahacet.org and click on the “CET Portal for A.Y. 2026-27”. Select “New Registration” and enter your email ID and mobile number. You will receive an OTP for verification.

Step 2: APAAR & Aadhaar Verification

Log in with your credentials and complete the APAAR ID authentication. This will automatically fetch some of your academic and identity details.

Step 3: Filling Personal and Academic Details

Enter your residential address, category (SC/ST/OBC/Open), and educational qualifications from SSC (10th) to Graduation. If you are appearing for your final year exams in 2026, select the “Appearing” status.

Step 4: Uploading Scanned Documents

You must upload your photograph and signature according to the following specifications:

The CET Cell usually opens a small Correction Window for 2-3 days after the registration closes. However, critical fields like Name, Photo, and Signature may not be editable.

Is the ELCT application separate?

No, you can opt for the ELCT (English Language Content Test) within the same MAH B.Ed CET application form if you wish to apply to English Medium colleges.
