Eligibility Criteria for MAH B.Ed CET 2026
Before filling out the application form, ensure you meet the following academic requirements:
1. Educational Qualification
- General Category: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in subjects like Sciences, Mathematics, Social Sciences, or Humanities.
- Reserved Category (Maharashtra State only): A minimum of 45% marks is required for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, VJ/DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), and SBC categories.
- Engineering/Professional Degrees: Candidates with specialization in Science and Mathematics (e.g., B.E./B.Tech) require a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
2. Candidature Type
- Maharashtra State Candidature: Candidates must be domiciled in Maharashtra or born in the state.
- OMS (Outside Maharashtra State) Candidature: Candidates from other states are eligible but will be considered under the Open category for seat allocation.
