📥 How to Download Your Response Sheet
The response sheet is not public; it is personal to each candidate and requires a login:
- Visit the Portal: Go to the official JEE Advanced website: jeeadv.ac.in.
- Candidate Login: Click on the “Candidate Portal” or “Response Sheet” link.
- Enter Credentials: Use your JEE Advanced Registration Number, Date of Birth, and Registered Mobile Number.
- View & Save: Your responses for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be displayed. Click on “Download” to save the PDF.
💡 Pro-Tip: Download and save your response sheet immediately on May 21. Once the Provisional Answer Key is released on May 25, the website traffic becomes extremely high, and the portal may slow down.
🔢 How to Use the Response Sheet
The main purpose of the response sheet is to help you calculate your probable score before the official results.
- Step 1: Open your downloaded Response Sheet.
- Step 2: Compare it with the Provisional Answer Key (released May 25).
- Step 3: Apply the marking scheme (which varies every year but is printed on your question paper).
- Correct Answer: Add marks (usually +3 or +4).
- Incorrect Answer: Deduct marks (usually -1 or -2, depending on the question type).
- Partial Marks: In Multiple Correct questions, you may get +1, +2, or +3 for marking some correct options without marking any incorrect ones.
