You must use your response sheet in conjunction with the official Answer Key to calculate your raw score before the final result/normalization.
- Correct Answer: +5 Marks (UG) / +4 Marks (PG)
- Incorrect Answer: -1 Mark (Negative marking applies)
- Unattempted: 0 Marks
UG Score = (Total Correct x 5) – (Total Incorrect x 1)
🚩 Importance of the Response Sheet
- Transparency: It is the only proof of what you actually submitted in the CBT mode.
- Objection Tool: If you believe you marked a correct answer but the NTA key says otherwise, you need the Question ID and Option ID from this sheet to file a challenge.
- Normalization: Since CUET is conducted in multiple shifts, your raw score from the response sheet will later be converted into an NTA Percentile Score.
Urgent Reminder: NTA has re-opened the CUET UG 2026 registration portal today, February 26. If you missed the earlier deadline, you have until 11:50 PM tonight to complete your application.
